Job Description
Under the responsibility of the yard manager, the forklift operator is responsible for loading the bundles of material. He must validate the quantities to be loaded according to the packing slip, load and secure the material by means of lift, move trailers around the yard and perform other related tasks.
The job requires medium to intense outdoor work, standing or crouching when attaching straps, driving a lift, validating and recording material to be loaded.
Qualifications
Good manual skills
Have already driven a forklift
Having worked on a farm or in a lumber yard an asset
Training
A forklift training paid by the employer is offered.
Working Conditions
Possibility to work overtime (time and a half)
Schedules Type : 4:00 a.m. to noon or noon to 8:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
