Type 3 Very High Compressive Strength Insulation Panel

Type 3 expanded polystyrene insulating panel of 276 kPa [40 PSI] compressive resistance for applications requiring an additional load bearing capacity. Insulate concrete footings of all types of construction. Insulate commercial, industrial and agricultural concrete slabs. Insulate road infrastructures pavement, parking areas and drainage pipes underneath parking areas of all types of buildings. Serve also to insulate arenas and cold storages slabs as well as concrete sidewalks.

Square, ship lap and G-Lock™ joints available.

1

Concrete Footing

Limits the heat loss through the footing. Breaks the thermal bridges in order to ensure a continuous envelope.

Ensures a compressive resistance of 276 kPa [40 PSI], superior to most undisturbed soils.

2

Garage Concrete Slab

Suitable for all types: commercial, industrial and agricultural garages.

3

Asphalted Parking Areas

Suitable for parking areas and driveways of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings.

4

Drainage Pipes

Pipes located underneath all types of parking areas: residential, commercial,  industrial and agricultural buildings.

5

Concrete Sidewalks

Suitable for concrete sidewalks for circulation between parking area and building and for street sidewalks.

6

Road Infrastructure

Suitable for roads, access road and bridge abutments.

Ensures a compressive resistance of 276 kPa [40 PSI], superior to most undisturbed soils.

Ideal for backfilling material on unstable soils.

7

Arena

Allows cost savings with regards to the ice maintenance [formation, defrost].

Helps to maintain desired refrigeration temperature.

8

Square Joint

Square joints for underneath concrete slab applications, underneath road infrastructures pavement and parking areas as well for insulating panels covering underground drainage pipes.

Joints offering greater flexibility when handling the product.

9

2 Sided Ship Lap Joints

Ensures the continuity of the insulation on 2 sides. Ideal to cover small areas.

10

4 Sided Ship Lap Joints

Ensures the continuity of the insulation on all 4 sides.

11

G-Lock™ System

Notched joints limiting movement of the panels from one to another.

Alternative to square joints for under concrete slab applications, underneath road infrastructures pavement and parking areas.

Ideal for insulating panels underneath concrete slabs of arenas and recreation centers.
